- Use a footer link labeled "HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices."
- Add the link near prescription refill, prescription transfer, consultation, delivery, and contact forms where prescription-related information may be collected.
- Add the link in account or checkout areas if prescription-related information is collected there.
- Make a printed copy available in the pharmacy on request.
2. Recommended Short Notice Near Prescription Features

- Prescription, refill, transfer, consultation, insurance, and pharmacist communication information may be protected health information. Please review our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices for information about how medical information about you may be used and disclosed and how you may access this information.
3. Tracking Technology Caution

- Do not rely on a Shopify privacy policy alone for prescription records or patient care information.
- Review website forms, analytics, pixels, email tools, SMS tools, delivery tools, chat tools, and app integrations to ensure protected health information is not sent to vendors or advertising tools without proper compliance review.
