Description

Primatene Mist is an over-the-counter epinephrine inhalation aerosol used as a bronchodilator for temporary relief of mild symptoms of intermittent asthma. It works by relaxing airway muscles and improving airflow to the lungs, helping reduce wheezing, chest tightness, and shortness of breath. Each spray delivers a measured dose of epinephrine (0.125 mg), which acts quickly to open airways. It is intended for short-term relief and not as a replacement for prescription asthma control medications.

Dosage

Adults and children 4 years and older: 1–2 inhalations as needed. Do not exceed 8 inhalations in 24 hours unless directed by a healthcare professional.
