
Xiromed Emergency Contraceptive Pill contains 1.5 mg of levonorgestrel, a progestin hormone used as emergency contraception to help prevent pregnancy after unprotected sex or contraceptive failure. It works primarily by delaying or preventing ovulation. It is most effective when taken as soon as possible within 72 hours after intercourse. This product is comparable to Plan B One-Step and is intended for emergency use only and not as a regular birth control method.

Take 1 tablet (1.5 mg) as soon as possible within 72 hours after unprotected sex. The sooner it is taken, the more effective it is.
May include nausea, fatigue, headache, dizziness, breast tenderness, abdominal pain, or changes in menstrual cycle.
